 Using Cracking the Code Throughout

 the Day  (1 day workshop )

This workshop shows teachers how to use the

program, Cracking The Code, throughout the day

in all subject areas.  Teachers will see their

vocabulary and spelling lessons become a hit with

their students.

Research- Based Systematic Reading   Instruction in an Actual Classroom Setting

(2 day workshop )

This is a hands-on workshop with daily

classroom activities designed to engage, challenge

and support students while following the required

district reading program.

The Literacy Challenge  (1 day workshop )

 

In this workshop we examine the national standards for literacy and apply tested and engaging classroom strategies to promote literacy for all students.  The workshop is designed to provide classroom activities that help engage the reluctant reader.  Participants will create activities to use in their classrooms based on the needs of their students.

Learning Centers Created and Used by Students
(1 day workshop )

 

This workshop focuses on the use, management

and creation of learning centers that are self-leveling, independent, interactive and integrated.  Participants will leave with the template to use with students to create learning centers in their classroom. 

(A one day onsite coaching session is optional.)

The Process of Writing and its Connection to the Writing Process (1 day workshop )

 

This workshop will focus on using patterns to build writing skills.  The session will demonstrate how the Writing Process, prewrite, draft, revise, proofread and publish, are used each step of the way.
