Grades 3-5

  • Skip Words
  • Call out words incorrectly based on 1 or 2 letters
  • Read slowly with poor comprehension
  • Poor spelling
  • Receiving reading intervention and struggling

Grades 6-8

  • Low comprehension scores
  • Read slowly with poor comprehension
  • Poor spelling and unable to make corrections
  • Reading intervention produces little progress
  • Good oral vocabulary but low reading vocabulary

Grades 9-12
