The first set of twins to arrive was the bb twins.    Shortly after the bb twins arrived, cc, dd, ff, gg, ll, mm, nn, pp, rr, ss, tt, and zz all came to live in Alphabetland.

The consonants welcomed their new friends with

 open arms.
